About Astrology
Western astrology tracks the apparent position of the Sun, Moon, and planets against the 12 signs of the zodiac. Your sun sign is determined by where the Sun stood on your birth date. Each day, the planets shift, forming aspects — angles like trines (120°, harmonious) and squares (90°, tense) — that astrologers read as the day's prevailing energy.
This site computes real planetary positions using the Swiss Ephemeris standard (via astronomy-engine), not estimates. The Sun's longitude on any given day places it in one of the twelve signs, each spanning exactly 30° of the ecliptic.
