The Ten Gods (十神)

The Ten Gods (十神) describe the relationship between your Day Master and the other stems/branches in your chart. They are not deities but relational archetypes:

• Companion (比肩/劫财): self, peers, siblings, independence.
• Resource (正印/偏印): mother, knowledge, support, intuition.
• Output (食神/伤官): children, creativity, expression, intelligence.
• Wealth (正财/偏财): income, possessions, the practical and material.
• Power (正官/七杀): career, authority, discipline, spouses (for women).

The "Direct" (正) forms are steady and conventional; the "Indirect" (偏) forms are dynamic and unconventional.
